  • Geographic Information Services: Snohomish County has a centralized Geographic Information System (GIS) which provides administrative and technical support to internal departments. Products include Snohomish County Data CD and high accuracy geospatial database development.

  •  Planning and Development Maps
    - Cartography/GIS Services provides GIS data and mapping services for the Department of Planning and Development Services. From long range GMA planning to zoning and the land use permitting process, the GIS Team provides a comprehensive resource for data creation, analysis, map display and publication, digital access and GIS resource facilitation for the department.
    -     Maps & GIS Data web page is a listing of map print and GIS data that is available through the PDS Cartography/GIS Services office. Prints and data disks of these maps and GIS data sets are generally available upon request from the Cartography/GIS Services office.
    -     Aerial Photo Resources web page is a description of the aerial photos prints available through the Department of Planning and Development Services, and how to obtain them and the cost. Information on historical aerials, and the acquisition of digital aerial files from the County is also available here.
    -     PDS FTP web page is a description of what GIS data is available currently on the Department of Planning and Development's FTP site, and how to access the data and a link to the site.
    -     Interactive Permit/Zoning & Aerial Map web page is the Department of Planning and Development Services’ interactive web map that displays permit and zoning information along with parcels, Urban Growth Area boundaries, and aerial photography. Locations can be selected by parcel ID number or by the map’s zoom features. A map can be directly printed from the page.
    -     Ordering & Contact Information page provides information on obtaining map prints and GIS data and contacting the PDS Cartography/GIS Services Team.
    -     Long Range Planning Division web page may contain other PDS map images and information may be available for viewing from the web page.
  • Public Works Maps
    - Surface Water Management (SWM) Maps & Geo Data Mapping Resources in Support of Surface Water management Programs. Maps include: large county relief map, rivers, lakes and watershed maps, water quality sampling sites, and salmon & bull trout distribution maps.
    - County Survey Monument Inventory Keymap: First, install Mapguide found at http://plso.wadnr.gov/surveycontrol/data.htm.  Then the data is at http://plso.wadnr.gov/wccsmap.
