Credit Cards accepted:

E-Checks accepted from all checking accounts.
What personal information, including eCheck & Credit Card, is stored?
The only personal information the County keeps is the payer’s name and parcel paying. The eCheck and credit card information that is entered when making a payment is passed directly to the bank when the authorization takes place and is not stored by the County.
Is there a fee?
Yes for Credit Cards. It is a flat 2.5% of payment amount, minimum $2.00. This is true regardless of the amount paid (large or small) or how many payments are made.
Example: If your taxes are $500.00, the fee is $12.50, total paid $512.50
No for eCheck. CAUTION: You will be charged a Bank Return Fee if the Routing and/or Account information is not entered correctly or if there are insufficient funds.
Why is there a fee?
Washington state statute, RCW 36.29.190, states that the costs of using credit cards, charge cards or other electronic transaction must be borne by the payer. The 2.5% is paid to a third party, not the County, to process the Credit Card payment.
Why 2.5% convenience fee?
This is how our vendor charges the convenience fee; is more equitable as well as matches closely how VISA charges their fee.
Why can't I pay half of my taxes?
RCW 84.56.020 mandates that only Current Year 1st half tax is payable on or before April 30th of current year. Current year 1st half taxes, interest and penalties are due after April 30th and full current year taxes, interest and penalties are due after October 31st of current year. All prior year delinquencies are due in full.
When is my property account updated?
The county will post the payment to your account on the third business day following payment.
How can I get help with online payments?
