Honorable Thomas J. Wynne

Judge Thomas J. Wynne was first elected to the Snohomish County Superior Court bench in 1992.   He is a 1965 graduate of the University of Washington, and a 1968 graduate of the University of Washington School of Law.  After graduation from law school, he served as an Assistant Attorney General for Washington State.  Following three years as a U.S. Army officer, he became a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney for Snohomish County, where he served as Assistant Chief Criminal Deputy.  In 1978 he was elected to the position of District Court Judge in South District Court in Lynnwood, Washington, where he served until his election to the Superior Court.  Judge Wynne has previously served on the Superior Court Judges Association Ethics Committee.  He has attended the National Judicial College.  He presently serves on the Superior Court Judges Association Criminal Law and Technology Committees.  He is a member of the state's Judicial Information Systems Committee (JISC), and the Washington State Integrated Justice Information Board (JIN).
