Honorable Bruce I. Weiss

Judge Bruce I. Weiss began his service as a Superior Court Judge on December 10, 2007 after serving as a Court Commissioner for two years.  He has an undergraduate degree in accounting from Indiana University – Bloomington.  He received his law degree from the University of Montana in 1986.  Prior to being appointed as Court Commissioner in October 2005, he maintained a sole private general litigation practice for 19 years.  Some of his additional work experience included work as a contract attorney for the VGAL program for approximately five years, a part-time contract prosecuting attorney for the City of Everett for seven and one-half years, and an adjunct faculty member for the paralegal and graduate programs for Edmonds Community College and City University.  He and his wife, Kellie, have a total of three grown children and they have one grandchild.
