Honorable Linda C. Krese

The Honorable Linda C. Krese graduated from the University of Denver with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History.  She earned her J.D. from the Boston University School of Law in 1978.  After graduating from law school, Judge Krese spent a year working as an associate with a small Colorado law firm.  In 1979 she moved to Washington State and subsequently took a position as deputy prosecuting attorney in Kitsap County.  In 1983 Judge Krese accepted a position with the Washington Attorney General’s Office where she worked in the revenue and the torts divisions.  In 1986, Judge Krese became the lead torts attorney with the Snohomish County Prosecutor’s Office.  She was appointed to the Snohomish County Superior Court bench in 1994.  In 2000 she was elected Presiding Judge and served in that capacity through 2002.  Judge Krese also served as the Assistant Presiding Judge from 2002-2006, has chaired the Court Operations Committee and served on the Superior Court Judges Association Board of Trustees from 2003 to 2006.  She is currently assigned to Juvenile Court and serves as chair of the Juvenile Court Committee.
