Riverview Road Embankment Repair
October 1, 2013: Repair of the embankment is complete.
The road is fully open to two-way traffic.
Snohomish County's Road Maintenance crew will repair an embankment along Riverview Road* in the Snohomish area beginning Tuesday, September 3, 2013.
The project site is located west of the City of Snohomish.
Approximately 40 linear feet of sandy embankment along the Snohomish River
has eroded. The crew will place logs and rocks at the edge of the river above
the high water mark to stabilize the area.

A full road closure to all through traffic will be in effect 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Mondays through Fridays until September 30, 2013. A large crane and other equipment will block the road during the day while the crew is working.
The road will be open to single lane traffic during the weekends and after 6:00 p.m. each day. Eastbound traffic will yield to westbound traffic outside of work hours.
The Farm at Swan's Trail is north of the project and can be accessed from Swan's Slough Road during the week (see the map above) and from either direction on weekends.
