Interurban/I-5 Overcrossing @ 124th St. SE. (Mill Creek area)
Project #RC1022
See map below.
Project Description
This project built a pedestrian/bicycle bridge crossing over I-5, north of the 128th St. SE Interchange. The structure is a 300-foot-long, 13-foot-wide pre-stressed concrete girder bridge. As part of the project, Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) in 2008 is adding 0.14 miles of ADA ramps west of I-5 to connect the bridge to the existing Interurban Trail. Another element of the project is 0.28 miles of trail on the east side to fill in a gap in the trail and connect to it at the intersection of SR96 (128th St. SW) and 3rd Ave. SE.
