May Creek Bridge #572 Replacement (Goldbar area)
Project RC1346

Before project After project
Project Description
May Creek Bridge #572 is being replaced with a new 28-foot-wide and 60-foot-long concrete bridge at the same location (1/2 mile east of Goldbar and 1/2 mile north of US Hwy 2). The bridge carries 419th Avenue SE (Pickle Farm Rd) over the creek. Construction of the $706,000 bridge began in 2008 and will be completed in 2009. Flooding and heavy snowfalls created problems that have pushed completion closer to the summer of 2009.
Traffic Impacts
The bridge opened for use on April 7, 2009.
