May 6, 2013: Construction will begin during the last week of June or early
July and will continue into 2014. The date of construction will be posted here
when available. A county survey crew is in the area in preparation
for construction.

Project Description
The roadway currently has two travel lanes and intermittent sidewalks. The project design calls for widening of the roadway to add a center turn lane, as well as bike lanes, curbs, gutters and sidewalks along both sides of the roadway. Planting strips are also part of the design at several locations. Stormwater detention and water quality treatment systems will be constructed, as well as retaining walls where appropriate adjacent to wetland areas.
The necessary right-of-way has been purchased and construction funding has recently been secured.
