51st Avenue SE project:
excavate and replace two culverts - (#RR3009, RR3010)

Two culverts in the Bear Creek watershed have been in need of replacement. See map to the right.
The northern most culvert is finished, and the road is open.
The second culvert will be replaced during the summer of 2012 and will require another road closure along 51st Avenue SE that will require use of the detour route.
We know that the road closure has been an inconvenience for all who live and commute along 51st Avenue SE. We thank you for your patience and understanding.
The project is being managed by Snohomish County and paid for with Brightwater Facility mitigation funds from King County. |
