Project Description
Grannis Road is south of 180th Street SE on the west side of 35th Avenue SE and connects to 35th Avenue SE at a skewed angle making access to and from Grannis Road difficult. Public Works is planning to realign Grannis to connect
straight into 35th Avenue SE, rather than at a skewed angle. This will improve
sight distance and improve access between 35th Avenue SE and Grannis Road.
New traffic signals are planned for the new Grannis Road/35th Avenue SE intersection and for the 188th Avenue SE/35th Avenue intersection. See the newsletter below for more details.
Construction on the project is scheduled to begin in 2012. Project schedules
are subject to change based on factors such as the permitting process,
funding, utility coordination and site conditions.
