57th Ave SE (236th St SE to 228th St SE)
Project Description:
Some residents asked for parking along the road citing a need especially
during school events. There is now parking along the southern third of the road on the west side near Kokanee Elementary School. A five-foot wide porous concrete sidewalk with curb and gutter was added to the west side of the road between the school and 228th Street SE. The sidewalk was straighted next to the roadway to stay within the public right-of-way and preserve trees where possible.
