Households can recycle at county Transfer Stations or Neighborhood Recycling & Disposal Centers-NRDC (Drop Boxes) or private recycling facilities (see yellow pages). They may also sign up for curbside collection from local haulers. Accepted materials vary depending on the service provider. Materials may include newspaper, bottles and cans; electronics such as televisions and computers; yard debris and wood waste; some hazardous waste such as motor oil. Some businesses, including retailers and manufacturers, take back products for recycling and hazardous waste management.
