Lake Bosworth

Lake Bosworth is a 102-acre lake located three miles south of Granite Falls. It is a deep lake, with a maximum depth of 24 meters and a mean depth of 10.7 meters. The watershed is mostly undeveloped, except for dense homes located around the lake shore. There is a Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife public boat launch. |

Water Quality Information
Summary
Lake Bosworth appears to be in healthy condition, with moderate to high water clarity, low phosphorus, and low to moderate algae. Water clarity has improved since the early 1990s. Restoration of native vegetation along the shoreline of this densely populated lake and control of nutrients from future land development will help minimize impacts to the lake.

A comprehensive Snohomish County State of the Lakes Report was produced in 2003 and includes a specific section on Lake Bosworth. Individual lake updates to this report are provided each year as new data are collected.
Data
Snohomish County Surface Water Management (SWM) together with volunteer lake-monitors have been collecting water quality data for Lake Bosworth since 1994. Current and historical lake water quality data are available online in SWM's interactive Water Quality Database.

- Bathymetric Map - this map shows contour lines of equal depth similar to a topographic map. Public access sites are also indicated on each map when applicable.
- Aerial Photo - 2007 aerial photos of the lake with relevant features such as public access sites and nearby roads.
- Watershed Map - this map shows the boundary of the Lake Bosworth watershed. A watershed is the land area that drains into the lake.
