Lake Ballinger

Lake Ballinger is a 100 acre lake located within the cities of Mountlake Terrace and Edmonds. The lake has a maximum depth of 35 feet and an average depth of 15 feet. The lake's watershed is approximately 3250 acres. Lake Ballinger may be accessed through a boat launch on the east side of the Lake or through the City of Mountlake Terrace's Lake Ballinger Park.
Lake Ballinger/McAleer Creek Watershed Forum
During 2008 - 2010, Snohomish County joined with the cities of Mountlake Terrace, Edmonds, Lynnwood, Shoreline, and Lake Forest Park in a written agreement to prepare a strategic action plan to address issues of flooding and water quality in Lake Ballinger and McAleer Creek. A new interlocal agreement addressing implementation of the plan was adopted in 2011 among Snohomish County and the cities of Mountlake Terrace, Edmonds, and Lake Forest Park.
