Water Quality Information
Summary
Data collected by the Crystal Lake community since the early 1980s and limited data collected by Snohomish County SWM in 1994-95 indicate that the lake has low water clarity, moderate phosphorus levels, and moderate to high chlorophyll a values. The lake also supports dense growths of native aquatic plants. It appears that the lake could be classified as eutrophic.
Reports
Water quality information has only been collected for Crystal Lake in coordination with Snohomish County since 2006. An initial report of the water quality has been developed and will be updated as more data are collected.
Data
Snohomish County Surface Water Management (SWM) together with volunteer lake-monitors have been collecting water quality data for Crystal Lake since 2006. Current and historical lake water quality data are available online in SWM's interactive Water Quality Database.
