Stillaguamish River Clean Water District Advisory Board
Description
The Stillaguamish River Clean Water District (CWD) Advisory Board is a Snohomish County citizen advisory board that makes recommendations to organizations working on water quality, water quantity, and aquatic habitat issues in the CWD. The CWD Advisory Board reviews funding levels and annual work plans primarily of the Surface Water Management Division of Snohomish County Public Works Department and the Snohomish Conservation District.

State of the Stilly Report
The State of the Stilly Report was prepared by the Snohomish County Public Works Department, Surface Water Management Division, as an assessment of watershed conditions and Surface Water Management programs in the CWD. The report was developed for use by the CWD Advisory Board in developing their recommendations on Surface Water Management work program priorities in the Clean Water District, as set forth in Title 25A SCC.

Surface Water Management accepts applications from private landowners who are interested in improving water quality within the CWD.

Clean Water District Advisory Board Vacancies
The CWD Advisory Board is seeking a new member to represent residential rate payers in "Urban Growth Areas", which are unincorporated areas surrounding the cities of Stanwood, Arlington, and Granite Falls. We are also seeking new members to represent Main Stem Stillaguamish and Lakes residential rate payers. Members attend monthly meetings and help set priorities for water quality, water quantity, and aquatic habitat work done within the Stillaguamish River Clean Water District.

Reporting a Water Pollution Problem
Surface Water Management staff responds to citizen and agency requests for investigation of possible violations of water pollution ordinances. This includes pollution such as animal waste, oil, sediment, and paint discharged into lakes, ponds, streams, rivers, wetlands, ditches or drainage systems.
