Watershed Education Program

Program Description

Surface Water Management's Watershed Education Program helps citizens understand the natural processes and adopt watershed- and salmon-friendly actions such as: planting native vegetation along stream banks, teaching others in their community about water and fish issues, collecting and sharing data, rai$ing fund$, understanding land use and regulatory processes as they relate to aquatic habitat, water quality, urban drainage and river flooding. Events offered by the Watershed Education Program are designed to help citizens protect and restore aquatic habitat and water quality, and deal with urban drainage problems and river flooding.
