Determination of Significance
A Determination of Non-Significance (DNS) was issued on a SEPA Environmental Checklist on May 9, 2009, and was withdrawn on June 26 following comments received from citizens, organizations, and agencies. The same day, a Determination of Significance was issued and a request for scoping comments made. Comments were received until July 20.
Draft EIS
The County issued a Draft EIS on June 6, 2011, to analyze the environmental impacts of the proposal.

Final EIS Issue Date: Not Determined. Pending completion of additional technical studies related to potential drainage and hydrologic impacts.
Once the Final EIS is issued, a motion will be presented to the Snohomish County Council for a governmental decision action. The Council will decide on whether the project team will implement the Action Alternative or the No Action Alternative. A Notice of Action subsequently will be issued to document the decision.

Comments are now being reviewed and will be addressed in preparation of the Final EIS.
