The Flood Guide is updated and distributed annually to floodplain area residents. It is available now through the link below.
The goal of this publication is to provide current references and helpful information on avoiding, preparing for, and coping with floods. Hard copies of the guide will be mailed to all floodplain area households on October 17, 2011.
The guides will also be available at City Halls and public libraries near flood prone areas; the Public Works Surface Water Management office (3000 Rockefeller Ave, Everett; phone 425-388-3464); and the Department of Emergency Management office (3509 – 109th St. SW, Everett; phone 425-388-5060).
The guide is a part of the county’s outreach and education activities for continued participation in the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) Community Rating System (CRS).
