How to Get Help

Stumped? Got questions? In over your head? Don't know where to go? Start here!

The agencies and organizations listed below are ready and willing to help you.

All have stream experts on staff.

All are experienced in helping Snohomish County landowners with their stream-related questions and challenges.

All are either government agencies or non-profit organizations that can provide consultation at little or no cost. They are there to serve you. Don't hesitate to call if you need help.

You may also choose to hire a consultant. Since these are private-sector businesses, specific consultants are not endorsed here. However, a quick web or phone-book search will help you find several qualified, local experts. The agencies and organizations listed below have public responsibilities and may be limited in the range of services they can provide to you, a private landowner. Consultants, on the other hand, are not public entities and can work solely toward your interests. The tradeoff is that free advice from consultants is limited and you will pay for their service.

Our advice: Start here. If you need additional help, then reach for the phone book.
