Who do I call with a groundwater question?

If you have a general question about groundwater or your well, call the Snohomish County Groundwater Management Program at 425-388-3464.

Is the water in my well good?

Collecting a water sample and have it tested by a certified laboratory (see the next question) is the only way to determine the quality of water in your well.  You can, however, get a general idea of the water quality in your area by consulting the Snohomish County Groundwater Database.

How do I test the water in my well?

You can learn how to get your well water tested by contacting the Snohomish Health District at 425-339-5210.

How can fertilizers and plant nutrients affect the quality of my groundwater?

Where can I get a copy of my water well report?

Water well reports are now available on-line from the Washington State Department of Ecology.  The Washington State Water Well Log Report Search and Viewer will allow you see your water well report.
