Workshop Description

This Project WET (Water Education for Teachers) workshop offers both hands-on interdisciplinary classroom activities and field experiences. You’ll get many ideas for using water as an integrating theme – each Project WET activity is aligned to multiple EALRs and GLEs. You'll learn how to test water quality at a local stream and analyze local water issues. Each participant will receive a copy of the brand new Project WET Curriculum and Activity Guide 2.0.
 

Who Should Attend the WET & Aquatic Wild Workshop?

Activities presented will be targeted at grades 4 through 8. However, educators of all grades are welcome to attend.
 

Pre-Registration

EARLY-BIRD SPECIAL FOR SNOHOMISH COUNTY TEACHERS:
Is your school located anywhere within Snohomish County? If so, postmark your registration by Wednesday, July 31, 2013 and take advantage of the EARLY-BIRD rate of just $35.

The regular workshop registration fee (postmarked after July 31) is $55.

Optional Extra Credit

20 Washington Science Teachers Association clock-hours will be offered for an additional fee of $45.
