Deep Water

A Landowner's Guide to Flooring and Drainage

Is your stream too big for its britches?

Are you trying to live with beavers?

Do you have shoreline erosion, wet feet, wet land, wet dog?

Do you want to leave healthy streams and clean water for your children and grandchildren?

…then this workshop is for you!

Each workshop provides landowners with a general understanding of why streams flood, laws, permits, ecological issues, and how to get help. It also covers what lives in and around streams (besides landowners) and how to work around streams without harming water quality and wildlife.

Each workshop begins in a classroom and end with a trip to a nearby salmon stream.

Whether you have a project in mind or you just want to expand your knowledge, these workshops are a great way to get your questions answered in an informal, unintimidating setting.

Schedule

This workshop is available to any homeowners association and to groups of ten or more streamside property owners at no charge. Contact Surface Water Management to arrange time and location.
