Rental Cancellations & Changes
Snohomish County Parks and the community greatly appreciate notification when you are unable to keep your reservation. Based upon when we receive your notification, you may be entitled to a refund. To avoid confusion and expedite processing, please use the Cancellation & Change Request Form (.pdf format).
Refunds
To receive a refund, cancellation request must be made in writing. Please be aware that Reservation Fees and the 6.5% online Convenience Fee cannot be refunded. The following refund policy applies to campsite, cabin, yurt, and picnic shelter reservations:
14-Day Notification
Requests received at least 14 days prior to arrival date will receive a full refund less reservation/convenience fee and a $10.00 cancellation fee (per site). No refunds for Picnic Shelter cancellations less than 14 days out.
13 days - 72 hours Notification
Requests received between 13 days and 72 hours prior to check-in will receive a refund minus reservation/convenience fee and ONE night's rental (per site or facility).
Less than 72 hour Notification
Requests received less than 72 hours from 2:00 pm check-in will recieve a refund minus reservation/convenience fee and THREE night's rental (per site or facility).
No-Show/Late Arrivals
A reservation becomes a "no-show" if you have not checked-in or cancelled by 12 Noon of the day following your reserved arrival date. All fees and charges (to a maximum of three nights) will be forfieted when your reservation turns to "no-show". If you arrive after 10:00 p.m. (or dusk) and the entrance gates are closed, you may still enter the park by opening and closing the gate. Be sure to register in the morning to avoid "no-show".
Changes
Date Changes
Requests for changes in reservation dates must be received at least 14 days prior to your scheduled arrival date. A reservation change fee of $7.00 will be charged for each changed site. The standard cancellation policy applies to changes requested less than 14 days prior to affected date(s). Please note Friday/Saturday night reservations cannot be seperated.
Site Changes
To change a site, you will need to cancel your existing reservation and be issued a new permit. Cancellation and new reservation fees will apply.
