Yurt Village at Kayak Point
Circular, domed tents similar to the Yurts at Kayak Point traditionally served as shelters for Mongolian nomads and were made of poles covered with felt or animal skins.
Today’s yurts in the YURT Village at Kayak Point County Park have hardwood floors, electricity, screen windows, skylight, all enclosed
in light-colored canvas with a locking door.
The Yurt Village at Kayak is a perfect location for Families, Clubs, Companies, Scouts, Churches,
Schools
A large picnic shelter with power, water, and tables accommodating up to 75 people is also located in the Village.
There are no pet-friendly units at this time. If you need to bring a pet, we suggest renting Yurt #10 so you can use the campsite and keep your pet in a kennel in your vehicle at night.
Reserve online! Please be sure you have your lock box code with you upon arrival. You may not be able to access your yurt without it. Your lock box code is the last three digits of your reservation number and is located in your confirmation email/letter.
