Description
Forsgren provides two practice soccer fields. Two little league baseball diamonds are located at the south end of the park. A small playground is available at the north end of the park. The park provides plenty of paved parking areas.
Park History
The property was formerly a county-owned gravel pit. It was reclaimed in the early 80’s and offered to the parks department. The first development of the site was funded by a HUD grant that provided for grading and seeding of the soccer fields. The North Shore Soccer Youth Association funded the all-weather soccer fields and baseball fields. The Association continues to maintain the fields and schedules games.
