EAST WILLIS TUCKER PARK CONSTRUCTION UPDATE
Spring has arrived with some beautiful sunny dry days but not enough to dry out the soils.
Construction activities will resume on the east side of the park once soil conditions are dry enough to work and can support construction traffic. Working wet soils translates into increased costs for the project and additional delays.
Once the Contractor is re-mobilized, the project should be completed with all areas re-opened within four (4) to six (6) weeks. Off-leash users - you have been extremely patient and we appreciate that.
You might want to try the off-leash area at Cavalero County Park located at 2032 79th Avenue, Lake Stevens or Wiggly Field in Monroe. Both of these off-leash areas have more convenient parking adjacent to the off-leash area.
To apply for a code that will permit access to the ADA parking stalls, please submit an application form.
Park Features
Willis Tucker Community Park is a flat to gently-sloped, forested 84-acre site immediately adjacent to the densely-populated residential communities of Silver Firs and Snohomish Cascade, three miles east of Mill Creek.
Named after Snohomish County's first County Executive, this beautiful park is home to the Park Department's administration offices, a very popular spray park, an off-leash dog area, a farmer's market, and movies in the park each summer.
