Comprehensive Parks Plan Update
Snohomish County Parks is in the process of updating the 2007 Comprehensive Parks Plan. This document is a component of the Snohomish County Growth Management Act Comprehensive Plan and works together with the County's General Policy Plan and Capital Facilities Plan to provide goals, objectives and strategies for providing park services through 2025.
The plan is created through a year-long process to inventory park facilities in Snohomish County, solicit public input regarding recreation opportunities and an analysis to determine areas of need. A draft of the 2013 Snohomish County Comprehensive Park and Recreation Plan has been created and is available for viewing:

We encourage all interested residents to provide feedback on the Draft Parks Plan. Public hearings are scheduled through the Snohomish County Council and current information regarding hearing dates and times, as well as methods for submitting commentd, are available on the County Council webpage.
