Swimming Beaches

Snohomish County Parks has several parks near open water.  Please be aware that there are NO LIFEGUARDS ON DUTY and that for your safety, you are encouraged to swim only in areas where a lifeguard is present. Find tips in this Water Safety Link

The swimmming waters at these parks are not treated to control spread of disease.  Beach water, if swallowed, can sometimes cause illness because of bacteria, viruses or parasites in the water.  All beach users should follow these bathing beach recommendations from the Snohomish Health District to prevent contamination of the water and should avoid swallowing of any beach water.
