Electronic Plan Submittal
The Electronic Plan Submittal project is a pilot that utilizes the existing PDS Online Basics web application to give customers the ability to upload their structural plans and calculations at the same time as submitting their structural plan. This project went live on July 1, 2010. The customer can now submit their plans and then click a new button in the Online Basics application to view a list of projects associated with their user ID, with an option to upload documents. The PDF document uploaded is saved to a location on the county network.
A future phase is to integrate online payments and eventually use MyBuildingPermit.com as the public portal.
