Stormwater Management Regulation

(NPDES) Project Update

 

New stormwater rules and regulations that comply with Snohomish County's Phase I Municipal Stormwater Management Permit became effective September 30, 2010.  The regulations address drainage, land disturbing activity (clearing, grading and impervious surfaces) and low impact development.  A new Snohomish County Drainage Manual and updates to the Engineering Design and Development Standards (EDDS) are invoked by these regulations to regulate stormwater.  These regulations and rules will apply to most land use approvals and permit applications.  For more information, please visit the PDS engineering website.
