Rule Repromulgation

Pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 30.82 SCC - Rulemaking, all pre-existing policies, procedures and rules relating to the Unified Development Code, Title 30 Snohomish County Code must be repromulgated by December 31, 2004. Rules provide specificity and detail for existing regulations. Rulemaking does not apply to policies and procedures involving matters of internal administration or management of county departments, code interpretations, or submittal requirements.

Request for Review and Comment - The Department of Planning and Development Services (PDS) has reviewed existing policies, procedures, and rules and identified which are considered rules according to chapter 30.82 SCC. A summary of rules proposed to be repromulgated or adopted is published on this site. In addition, a list of existing policies, checklists or procedures that are proposed to be repealed or reclassified are also available below. Comments regarding the draft proposals are requested from interested parties.
