A summary of items needed at a Grading application appointment:

You will need to make an appointment to submit your grading permit package. Please call (425) 388-3311 ext. 2790 to schedule your appointment.

Many of the documents are in pdf format. To read these files you'll need to have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer.

1. Grading Permit Fee Schedule

2. Grading Application 

3. All items on Grading Checklist

• meeting minimum site plan requirements
• specify proposed Erosion Control

4. Grading quantities, separate cut (excavation) and fill.

5. Supporting calculations and/or cross section(s) for quantities.

6. Critical Area Study, if required.

• Critical Area Site Plan

7. SEPA Environmental Checklist, if required.

8. Drainage Plan, if required.

9. Geo-Technical Report, if required.
