Public Notice and Opportunity to Comment On
Proposed Substantial Amendment to the
Snohomish County 2008 Action Plan
Snohomish County is seeking public review and comment on a proposed amendment to the 2008 Action Plan.
The 2008 Action Plan includes awards for specific housing and community development activities funded under the CDBG, CDBG-R, HOME, and ESG federal grant programs which primarily benefit low-income persons and neighborhoods.
The proposed amendment would cancel $107,091.58 in unspent CDBG-R funds awarded to an affordable housing program and re-allocate these funds to two other projects:
- $90,000 to the Town of Darrington for the acquisition and installation of an emergency generator to operate the two town wells during power outages.
- $17,091.58 to Parkview Services to help cover cost over runs for the Parkview Homes IX affordable housing project in Lake Stevens.
