ENDING HOMELESSNESS PROGRAM
2012-2013 Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA)
Snohomish County announces the availability of 2012 local funds for activities focused on ending homelessness. Approximately $1.5 million may be awarded for one-year contracts commencing July 1, 2012. Nonprofit (including faith-based) agencies, for-profit entities, and public housing authorities are eligible to apply. Faith-based organizations and churches may not restrict client participation based on required religious affiliation or services. Snohomish County will not accept applications from individuals or for single family rental assistance. Such activities must be sponsored by an organization willing to provide rental assistance on a larger scale.
Pre-Application Workshop:
A pre-application workshop will be held on Monday, February 13, 2012, on the Snohomish County Campus (3000 Rockefeller Avenue, Everett, WA), in conference room 6A02 (6th floor, Drewel Building), from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Questions from the workshop will be posted online following the meeting.
Application Submission and Due Date:
Three (3) original paper copies and one (1) electronic copy must be received by 4:00 p.m., Thursday, March 8, 2012. Late applications will not be accepted. Applicants are strongly encouraged to hand deliver applications to the Human Services Department, as specified below, to avoid missing the deadline due to mail delivery.
