Combined Request For Proposals (RFP)

The Ending Homelessness Program and the 1/10th of 1% Sales Tax Fund for Chemical Dependency and Mental Health are combining resources to provide housing dollars to an agency or agencies to acquire, or to acquire and rehabilitate, residential properties to serve some of the County’s most vulnerable citizens.  The properties will serve individuals and/or families who have had a recent history of being homeless, or are at risk of becoming homeless, and/or have mental health and/or substance abuse treatment needs.  At least 50% of the units will be dedicated to housing residents who require chemical dependency treatment and/or mental health services. 

Agencies interested in responding to this RFP must provide an adequate service plan and secure the necessary funding to support that service plan.  The funding sources for this RFP are exclusively for acquisition, or acquisition and rehabilitation, and may not be used for supportive services.

Proposer's Conference:
Interested agencies must have attend a mandatory proposer's conference from 3:00pm to 4:30pm on Wednesday, August 29th.

Proposal submission deadline: no later than 5:00pm, on Monday, October 1st.
          Late or incomplete Proposals will not be accepted.
