Respite Care Program
This program provides relief and support to those who are caring for an adult family member or friend. Our program has several types of respite care available: in-home, out-of-home, hourly and 24 hour, planned and emergency. While you are away, you can be assured that your loved one will be well taken care of. All substitute caregivers have been specifically trained for this work.
If you have primary responsibility of caring for a person aged 18 or older and do not receive financial compensation for this work, you may be eligible to participate in this program. Financial participation is based on the income of the person receiving the care. People with low to moderate incomes may receive services at no cost. A sliding fee scale determines the amount of participation for those with higher incomes.
