Nutrition Programs
This program provides nutritious meals delivered in either a group setting or to a home-bound individual's residence. Funds are provided by federal money, the US Dept. of Agriculture, and by participant donations, United Way, Snohomish County, City of Everett, and COPES.
Congregate Nutrition:
Meals that are served in a group setting that allows for socialization are called congregate meals. Eligibility is established for any person 60 years or older and spouse; volunteers at the meal site; and handicapped or disabled individuals under age 60 who reside with an eligible participant.
Hot meals are served at the congregate sites from one to five days a week, depending upon the site. Culturally appropriate menus are available for Korean, Filipino, Southeast Asian, and Chinese elders. Current sites include:

- Adult Day Health Center, Everett
- Baker View Apartments, Everett
- East County Senior Center, Monroe
- Everett Senior Center , Everett
- Granite Falls Senior Center, Granite Falls
- Mountlake Terrace Senior Center, Mountlake Terrace
- Multicultural Senior Center, Mukilteo
- Snohomish Senior Center, Snohomish
- South County Senior Center, Edmonds
- Stanwood Community & Senior Center, near Stanwood
- Stillaguamish Senior Center, near Arlington
- Tulalip Tribal Senior Center, Tulalip (near Marysville)
In-Home Nutrition:
This program delivers nutritious meals to home-bound individuals (Meals on Wheels). To be eligible, an individual must be:
- age 60 or older
- home-bound
- physically or mentally disabled (or spouse must be)
- no other means of support
