• 2012 Weatherization Assistance Program Request for Proposals and 2012 Mechanical Services Invitation to Bid
  Snohomish County is seeking qualified home performance contractors to weatherize approximately 135 homes between April 1, 2012 and March 31, 2013.  An applicant (proposer) conference will be held February 9th, letters of intent are due February 13th, and proposals are due February 27, 2012.  For additional information, please go to the Weatherization RFP website.

The Weatherization program provides home energy conservation assistance to eligible households all year long.  We serve both homeowners and renter.

Types of Weatherization Service Provided (depending on your home):

• Installs insulation, air sealing, and other standard weatherization measures.
• Provides energy conservation education.
• Completed safety checks on home heating systems.
• Checks home ventilation.

Eligibility:

To be eligible, you must meet program/income rules and provide required papers.  Landlord agreement is required on rental homes.
