- Snohomish County requests proposals for contracts to provide Chemical Dependency and/or Mental Health services to low-income and indigent residents of Snohomish County. Snohomish County requests proposals for contracts to provide school prevention/intervention services targeting youth at risk of becoming harmfully involved with alcohol or other drugs or are experiencing serious social/emotional problems. Snohomish County is also seeking proposals for contracts implementing wellness programs into existing chemical dependency or mental health treatment programs. Proposals are due by February 2, 2010. Alcohol & Other Drugs provides management of alcohol and drug treatment services for indigent and low-income alcoholics and addicts, provides substance abuse prevention services that can prevent or delay the misuse and abuse of alcohol, tobacco, and/or other drugs, and provides thousands of people with direct information services on Driving Under the Influence through victim panels, school assemblies, driver's education classes, and the Evergreen State Fair.
