2010 REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
Prevention/Intervention and Wellness Services
Snohomish County requests proposals for contracts to provide school prevention/intervention services targeting youth at risk of becoming harmfully involved with alcohol or other drugs or are experiencing serious social/emotional problems. Snohomish County is also seeking proposals for contracts implementing wellness programs into existing chemical dependency or mental health treatment programs. Contracted services will provide funding specific to low-income and indigent residents of Snohomish County. All applicants must be willing to provide services in Snohomish County within 30 days of executed contract.
Amount of funds available: $300,000
Contract period: Date of executed contract through December 31, 2010
Snohomish County Human Services has developed Request for Proposal (RFP) packets containing qualification standards and response instructions for the following service(s):
- School Prevention/Intervention
- Wellness Trainers
RFP Packets will be available from the receptionist desk, located on the lower level of the Admin East building at 3000 Rockefeller, Everett, WA of the Human Services Department, during normal business hours, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, on Friday, December 18, 2009.
Updated Information Relating to the RFP Process and/or Application:

The Reporting Requirements for Mental Health services have changed since the RFP was released. Providers wishing to apply for funding for these services will need to demonstrate the ability to submit all the required data elements to the county in a format that meets the privacy standards of state and federal laws.
An Applicants Conference will be held Friday, January 8, 2009 at WSU Extension's Cougar Auditorium (600 128th St SE - at the South end of McCollum Park, Everett) beginning at 9:00 am. A summary of questions and answers will be posted here after the conference. No further questions will be answered after the conclusion of the conference.
