1/10th of 1% Sales Tax Fund for Chemical Dependency and Mental Health

2010 REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

 

Snohomish County requests proposals for contracts to provide Chemical Dependency and/or Mental Health services to low-income and indigent residents of Snohomish County.  All applicants must be willing to provide services in Snohomish County within 30 days of executed contract.

 

Amount of funds available: $1,293,150
Contract period:  Date of executed contract through December 31, 2010

 

Snohomish County Human Services has developed Request for Proposal (RFP) packets containing qualification standards and response instructions for the following service(s):

  • Youth and Adult Chemical Dependency Services
  • Youth and Adult Mental Health Services
  • Youth and Adult Residential Services
  • Adult/Older Adult Outreach with Mental Health Focus
  • Hospital Emergency Room Services

 

RFP Packets will be available from the receptionist desk, located on the lower level of the Admin East building at 3000 Rockefeller, Everett, WA of the Human Services Department, during normal business hours, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, on Tuesday December 01, 2009.

 

Updated Information Relating to the RFP Process and/or Application:

  •  The Reporting Requirements for Mental Health services have changed since the RFP was released.  Providers wishing to apply for funding for these services will need to demonstrate the ability to submit all the required data elements to the county in a format that meets the privacy standards of state and federal laws.

  •  The requirement in the RFP that services must be provided through Licensed Community Mental Health Centers or Federally Qualified Health Plans may include agencies who have a provisional license with the Division of Behavioral Health and Recovery (formerly the Mental Health Division).
