Human Services' Public Meetings

Alcohol and Other Drugs Advisory Board:  Typically meets the second Tuesday every other month from 5:30 to 7:00 pm.  Contact Shelli Young at 425-388-7400 for additional information.

Chemical Dependency/Mental Health Sales Tax Board:  Meets the third Wednesday each month from 5:30 to 8:30 pm.  Contact Wendy Roullier at 425-388-7236 for additional information.

Children's Commission:  Meets on the LAST Wednesday of the months January through June, September and October, from 4:00 - 6:00pm, in Everett, WA.  The Annual Retreat occurs in August, and the Nov/Dec meetings are combined into the first week of December due to holidays.  Contact Kristi Reardon at 425-388-7315 for additional information, or go to the We Value Kids website.

Community Services Advisory Council:  CSAC meetings are held monthly on the third Tuesday of each month from Noon to 1:30pm.  Contact Andrea Kolacz for information and location at 425-388-7244.

Council on Aging:  Meets from 10:00am until 12:00 pm (noon) on the fourth Wednesday of the months January through November.  There is no meeting in the month of December.  For more information regarding the meetings or to find out where the current location of the meeting will be contact Joyce Frasu at 425-388-7377.

Developmental Disabilities Citizen Advisory Board:  Meets the fourth Tuesday of the month from 4:00-5:30pm at Providence General Hospital, Pacific Campus, Everett.  This meeting is open to the public and is an opportunity for the community to receive up-to-date information about what is happening locally and statewide to support individuals with developmental disabilities.  For more information contact Stuart Torgerson at 425-388-7208.  No meeting in July and December.

DUI Task Force:  Meets the third Tuesday of the month at noon.  For more information, please contact Tracy McMillan at 425-388-7229.

Mental Health Advisory Board:  The Mental Health Advisory Board serves to advise in the planning, development, implementation, coordination, and monitoring of a comprehensive mental health program for Snohomish County.  The Board meets six times annually on the second Monday of the month from 5:45 to 7:00 pm.  For 2011, the Board will meet in January, March, May, July, September, and November. Self-Sufficiency Coordinating Council:  This Council is the advisory body for Snohomish County’s Project Self-Sufficiency as well as the Family Self-Sufficiency Programs sponsored by the Everett Housing Authority and the Housing Authority of Snohomish County.  They meet the third Thursday in the months of January, March, May, September, and November at 8:30am at the Everett Housing Authority, corner of Colby and Pacific in Everett, WA.  For more information contact Project Self Sufficiency at 425-388-7416.

Veterans Assistance Fund Executive Board:  Regular meetings are held bimonthly, beginning in January of each year, on the third Friday of the month from 9:00 a.m. – 11 a.m. in Snohomish County Robert J.
