Commuter Program

The County's Commuter Program helps reduce traffic congestion, air pollution and our carbon footprint. By participating in our Smart Ride commuter program you can also save money, eliminate the irritation of looking for a parking space, use less gas, prevent miles from adding up on your odometer, and extend the life of your vehicle.

Consider becoming a Smart Ride member:

• Bus passes for Everett Bus riders $18 monthly will be loaded onto a County-issued ORCA card to help pay for the monthly bus pass. All other transit riders receive a $25 monthly voucher to use for their monthly bus passes.
• Vanpool riders also receive $25 monthly vouchers. In addition, vanpools of 5 or more people receive free parking in the county garage.
• Commuters who bicycle or walk to work receive an extra $18 in their pay checks each month.
• Carpools receive discounted parking in the County garage - the more people in the carpool, the deeper the discount.
