Section 125 Cafeteria Plans and Flexible Spending Accounts
Snohomish County offers Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA). A FSA allows you to allocate a certain amount of your paycheck into an account prior to paying income taxes. Flex plans offer considerable tax savings. Taxes reduced by a Flexible Benefit-Section 125 Plan are permanent savings; there is no deferred recovery by the IRS.
The plan year for these products runs April 1 to March 31, unless otherwise designated.
