About Economic Recovery
| The federal American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) was created to jumpstart our national and local economies, create millions of jobs and advance long-neglected projects, allowing our country and region to flourish in the 21st century. The Act is a response to an economic crisis unlike any since the Great Depression. With billions of dollars to invest, the Act provides for unmatched levels of transparency and accountability so that you will know how, when and where your tax dollars are spent. |
