Jury Service

You have been called to serve as a juror for one of the divisions of Snohomish County District Court.  If you have any questions regarding jury duty you need to contact the local division as listed on your summons and ask to speak with the jury clerk.

Jurors receive $10.00 a day plus round trip mileage for each day of service.   Please wait 4 to 6 weeks for your jury service check to arrive from Snohomish County Finance.  The Snohomish County District Court appreciates your cooperation in performing your civic duty.

When you have reported for jury service you will be required to wear your juror identification badge.  Badges should be worn in plain view and at all times (including lunch) during jury service.

Smoking is prohibited in all County buildings.  Smoking is permitted outside the buildings.

Jury service can entail some waiting time, while you wait for assignment, so you may want to bring reading materials, crossword puzzles or hand sewing.
