Civil Case Information

Civil suits may be filed in District Court when the amount claimed does not exceed $75,000.  The filing fee for a civil suit is $73.00  The District Court does not provide forms to file a civil suit.  

Cases must be filed in the county where the defendant resides and may be filed in any one of the 4 divisions.

Please be advised that court staff are prohibited from providing legal advise.
