Stephanie Wright
Lynnwood
In August 2010, I was honored to be unanimously appointed to serve on the Snohomish County Council. As your councilmember I am dedicated to working for our community. Some of the challenges we face as a county are tough budgets, questions of affordable housing, improving our public safety and how to implement a sustainable vision for our community while providing for economic opportunity. I am proud to have been a leader on these issues and for having actively participated in creating positive outcomes.
I was born in Everett and I am a life-long resident of Snohomish County with roots in both Marysville and Lynnwood. My husband and I have lived in Lynnwood for nearly 17 years and are now raising our wonderful 3-year-old son here. After receiving my Bachelors from WSU, I earned a MAT from Seattle Pacific University. Prior to becoming a councilmember, I taught high school in the Northshore School District and served as the Librarian at Woodinville High School.
